Versailles Drive-In’s Last Screening of the Year a Spooky Combo

The last screening of the year for Kelley’s Bel Air Drive-In in Ripley County is happening this week-end.

Forty years apart, two movies called ‘Halloween’ will be showing on Friday and Saturday, October 26th and 27th.

One is the original John Carpenter directed classic from 1978 and the other is the new released directed by David Gordon Green and approved by Carpenter from this year, 2018.

Both Rated R movies star Jamie Lee Curtis and both are definitely in the horror film genre.

Their ticket booth will be open at 6:00 and the 1978 Halloween will begin at 7:30PM.

The drive-in recommends folks get there early for a good space and to possibly grab dinner from their concession stand.

Besides standard movie fare such as popcorn, cokes and candy, they also serve food like pizza, hamburgers, fried pickles, tenderloin, soft pretzels and drinks such as hot chocolate and coffee.

This theatre has been showing films more than 60 years and is located right along the highway at 337 North US 421
