June 13, 2017

Three volunteer firefighters were thrown about the cab of their fire engine when it came off the side of the road Monday afternoon, according to the Trimble County Sheriff’s Department.

The engine was en route to a house fire in Bedford when it slid off and then quickly tried to get back on the road. This caused extensive damage to the front of the engine and left the three occupants battered and bruised.

All three were transported to the hospital to be checked over, but are all in good condition now.
