Lisa Jo Abbott, 54, of Madison, Indiana, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2018, at her home in Madison, Indiana.
She was born July 25, 1964, in Madison, to Bobby Allen Abbott and Donna Jean Bennett Abbott Tucker. She resided most of her life in Madison and was a 1982 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. She played basketball in junior high and worked at the Long John Silvers Restaurant during high school. For the past 17 years she had primarily worked at Arvin Sango in Madison. She enjoyed her friends, socializing, her animals, was an avid fan of Tennessee Volunteers sports and enjoyed listening and playing music.
Survivors include her father of Milton, Kentucky; her sisters, Ronda Stenger of Madison, Indiana, Pamela K. Gibson of Tallahassee, Florida and Denise Basham of Madison; her brothers, Marcus “Allen” Abbott of Madison, Jason Tucker of Lexington, Indiana and Joshua Tucker of Canaan, Indiana; her grandmother, Zelma Abbott of Bedford, Kentucky; her former stepdad, Dennis Michael Tucker of Canaan; her former stepmother, Loy Skirvin of Madison; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandparents, Harry and Mary Stoner Bennett, Glenn “Dempsey” and Kathryn Tucker.
Graveside services will be at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, at the Springdale Cemetery in downtown Madison.

Bob Hart
Robert Eugene “Bob” Hart, 94, of Indianapolis, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at his home.
He was born Sept. 8, 1925 in Frankfort, Indiana, to Lester Earl and Julia Ann Judd Hart. He was raised in Frankfort until the age of 17 and was a 1943 graduate of Frankfort High School where he studied mechanical drawing. He married JoAnne Gillette in 1945 and they had three daughters. He began a career in sales early in life and was listed as the top salesman of the company and following that decided to pursue a career on his own. In 1956 he married Mary Mae Bell and they had two daughters. He was owner and operator of Hart Galleries in Westfield, Indiana, where he was a buyer and seller of fine art and antiques for more than 53 years. He had operated an auction house since 1964 and met and maintained many friends, artists, clients and customers for the rest of his life. He married Doris Maurene Bishop in 1977 in Noblesville, Indiana, and had resided at 8020 North Meridian Street in Indianapolis since purchasing that stately home in 1983. He was raised in the Nazarene faith, held membership in the Knights of Pythias Lodge and enjoyed playing cards, loved music, collecting antiques, fine art and the art of making the deal.
Survivors include four daughters, Julia “Judy” Ann Hart Huff of Indianapolis, Patricia Ann Hart Cantwell of Madison, Indiana, Roberta Gardner of Muncie, Indiana and Rebecca “Becky” Mills of Westfield; and seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a great-great grandson and many other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sharon Ann Hart Amat; his brothers, Lester Vern Hart and James Buchanan Hart; his sister, Betty A. Hart; and his wife of 40 years, Doris Maurene Bishop Hart, on April 4, 2018.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, at the Kilmore Cemetery in Frankfort.

Booney Jones
Dennis J. “Booney” Jones, 73, of Vevay, Indiana, died Friday, July 17, 2020, at the King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana.
He was born April 19, 1947, in Ghent, Kentucky, to Harvey J. and Caroline Jacqueline Childers Jones. He was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana, where he attended school. He married Joyce Ann McCord and they had two daughters. In his early years, he was employed for Randall’s Textron and US Shoe Factory in Vevay. He later was a contractor who helped build U.S. 421 and was employed for Seagram’s Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. He was also employed for Camp Campbell Hospital in Harrison, Ohio, where he built air compressors, worked on a barge for a few years and was last employed for Madison Precision for four years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post No. 9 in Madison and loved the outdoors, fishing and mowing.
Survivors include his daughters, Sue Bushong of Madison, Carrie Orndorff of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Mindy McCord of Vevay; his sister, Chandra Scudder of Vevay; and six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Yvonne Jacqueline Jones; and his brothers, Harvey “Coke” Searcy Jones, Dana Jones, Darryl Wayne Jones and Kenneth Troy Jones.

Nila Robinson
Nila Jean Lauderbaugh Robinson, 59, of Daleville, Indiana and formerly of Switzerland County, Indiana, died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at the Ascension Saint Vincent in Anderson, Indiana.
She was born Sept. 12, 1960, in Anderson, to Norris Wayne and Betty Jo Bennett Lauderbaugh. She was raised in Switzerland County and Anderson and was a 1978 graduate of the Switzerland County High School. She received her associates degree in business administration from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and married Fritz Robinson on Aug. 18, 1984 in Anderson and they had a daughter. She owned and operated Sweet Memories Antiques in Anderson for several years, was employed as a placement specialist for the Hopewell Center in Anderson for several years and as the cafeteria manager and cook for the Daleville Jr./Sr. High School from 2005 to 2018. She enjoyed gardening, live music, being at the school with kids and watching her daughter play the piano.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 36 years and soulmate of 42 years; her daughter, Katie Jo Robinson of Daleville; her grandmother, Stella Romans Bennett of Vevay; and several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, family members and her dog, August “Auggie Dog.”
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Larry William Fair.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery there. Friends may call from noon until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Vickie Smith
Vickie Sue Adams Smith, 65, of Ormond Beach, Florida and formerly of Madison, Indiana, died Thursday, July 16, 2020, at the Advent Health in Daytona Beach, Florida.
She was born June 25, 1955, in Madison, to James Daniel and Allie Mae Henderson Adams. She was a 1973 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and a lifelong resident of Madison except for three years she lived in Lafayette, Indiana. She married Rick Smith on Aug. 19, 1983, and raised a daughter and a stepson from the age of two. She was a waitress for many years and was a national and state certified tech at CVS Pharmacy and King’s Daughters’ Pharmacy. The past 13 years she worked at Circle K as a clerk. She was a member of Milton United Methodist Church, enjoyed reading, watching TV and cooking. She had recently moved to Ormond Beach to be near her daughter as her health began to fail.
Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Marie Smith of Ormond Beach; her son, Roy Alan Smith of Kokomo, Indiana; a sister, Sheila Scott of Madison; a brother, Bennie “Junior” Adams of Canaan, Indiana; her confidant, Jo Heroux of Ormond Beach; two grandchildren, Dominic Smith of Peru, Indiana and Ryot Friedman of Atlanta; a God son, Ryan McGarvey of Redding, Pennsylvania; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Vernon Adams, James Edward Adams, Billy Joe McDole and Charles Chuck Holloway; and two sisters, Dorothy June Whitehead and Nancy Holloway.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison. Friends may visit from 5 p.m. until time of services Sunday at the funeral home.

Dave Wells
David Alan “Dave” Wells, 68, of Madison, Indiana, died Monday, July 20, 2020, at the Kindred Hospital and Health Care in Louisville.
He was born July 7, 1952, in Madison, to Joseph Wilson and Harriet Marie Inskeep Wells. He was raised in Madison and was a 1970 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School where he played football. He was raised in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church in downtown Madison. He married Lou Ann Richmond on July 2, 1972 in Madison. He was employed for 30 years with Dow Corning in Carrollton, Kentucky, as a chemical technician, retiring on Jan. 1, 2008. He loved music, being with his family and playing the bass guitar and had played in several bands and was an avid musician.
Survivors include a brother, Terence Wells of Madison; a sister, Valerie Murray of Columbus, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of nearly 48 years on March 17, 2020; a brother, Joseph Maurice Wells; and a sister, Pamela Marie “Pam” Wells.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 24, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison. Interment will follow in the Springdale Cemetery in downtown Madison. Friends may visit from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.

Peggy Gray
Peggy Ann Gray, 79, formerly of Madison, died Monday, July 20, 2020, at Brown County Health and Living Community in Nashville, Indiana.
She was born Nov. 13. 1940, in Trimble County, Kentucky, to Wilford Dean and Mary Francis Cox Wright. She was a lifelong resident of Madison and attended St. John’s United Church of Christ. She graduated from Madison Consolidated Schools and later attended Ivy Tech Community College in Madison. She retired from Kmart in 1999 after 25 years of service in retail sales. She then went to work for the Madison Consolidated School Corporation until 2007. She enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid reader. She did ceramics, antiquing and photography in her spare time as well as gardening and baking.
Survivors include her daughter, Christy Decker of Columbus, Indiana; a sister, Kathy Gibson of Greenwood, Indiana; her grandchildren, Brandon Decker of Orlando, Florida, Taylor Decker of Indianapolis, Chad Storm, of Columbus and Jaxon Miller and Jett Miller, both of Madison; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gregg Clubb; and two brothers, Boyd Wright and John Wright.
Cremation was chosen with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation Research.

Dee Anna Greene
Dee Anna Greene, 58, of Madison, Indiana, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 20, 2020, at the emergency room at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison.
She was born on July 15, 1962, in Madison, to Robert Greene and Mary Mildred Boone Greene. She resided all of her life in Jefferson County and attended school there. She raised two children and had been employed with Hammond’s Family Restaurant, Madison Precision and Madison Walmart. She attended West Street Church in downtown Madison and earlier in life enjoyed getting a great tan, exercising, babysitting and caring for her children.
Survivors include her son, Kean Greene of Madison; her daughter, Tiffany Greene of Madison; her brothers, Dennis Greene of Madison and Richard Greene of Bedford, Kentucky; and a niece, two aunts, several cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be announced at a later date by the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Brooksburg Cemetery in Brooksburg, Indiana.

Nola McCutcheon
Nola V. Gosman McCutcheon, 94, of Lexington, Indiana near Kent, Indiana, died Monday, July 20, 2020, at the Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover, Indiana.
She was born March 23, 1926, in Trimble County, Kentucky, to Shelby and Ethel Angell Gosman. She was raised in Trimble County and attended school there. She married Ira Andrew McCutcheon in Milton, Kentucky, on Dec. 10, 1942, and they had two daughters. They made their home in Saluda in Jefferson County, Indiana, and then moved to Hanover, farming there while Ira worked for Millican’s Garage in Hanover as a mechanic. They later purchased the business and retired after 40 years of service. She enjoyed baby sitting for many area families and treated the children like her own. She was a member of the Kent Christian Church in Kent and in 1996 they settled in Kent and she enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and mowing her lawn until the age of 92 and keeping her property immaculate. She enjoyed cooking, being with her grandchildren and family.
Survivors include her daughters, Janice Liter of Lexington and Jerry Watson of Hanover; her brother, Leon Gosman of Bedford, Kentucky; her sister, Nancy Wright of Evansville, Indiana; her grandchildren, Dewayne Liter, Montane Liter, Robyn Mintier and Jason Watson; and 10 great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of nearly 73 years on Sept. 3, 2015; and four brothers, Clarence James Gosman, Marvin Earl Gosman, William E. “Jack” Gosman and Jesse Gosman.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Friday, July 24, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison. Interment will follow in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.

Michael McClew
Michael David McClew, 63, of Dallas, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 26, 2020, at his home of an apparent heart attack.
He was born on June 1, 1957, to Robert and Margaret Watson McClew. He grew up on the Hanover College campus where his father formerly worked for the college as registrar and was a 1975 graduate of Southwestern High School in Hanover, Indiana. He graduated from Valparaiso University with a degree in economics and was a computer programmer working for Mobile Oil Company. He was a Christian, a mathematics and suduko whiz and a huge sports fan who enjoyed watching and attending games with his family. He was proud of crossing the United States on a 12-speed bike, from Oregon to Maine, as well as studying and traveling in Europe.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Sue McClew, of Winter Haven, Florida; his sisters, Cathy Church of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Jayne McClew of Louisville; a brother, Brad McClew, of Coppell Texas; his step siblings Chris Jacob of Tampa, Florida and Stacy Crawley of Madison; and five nieces and nephews and six grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1977, his grandparents and several uncles and aunts.
A memorial will be held at a later date with cremains interred at Hanover Cemetery.

Sara Wilson
Sara Jean Tyler Wilson, 60, of Madison, Indiana, died Thursday, July 23, 2020, at her home in Madison.
She was born June 1, 1960, in Jefferson County, Indiana, to Herschel Ingle and Marjorie Jean Brown Tyler. She was a lifelong resident of Jefferson County and a 1978 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. She was of the Christian faith, enjoyed the outdoors, collecting antiques, knitting, loved her animals, collecting, auctions and going to sales. Sara began working at the U.S. Shoe Corporation in Madison at the age of 17, serving as a foreman for many years. She was employed with Reliance Electric in Madison for 14 years and had worked as a site manager since 2013. She donated life by the gift of blood at many blood drives by the American Red Cross, receiving her one gallon pin.
Survivors include her companion of 25 years, Chris Hartman of Madison; her son, Robert William “Will” Konkle of Madison; her stepson, Justin Hartman of Madison; her sisters, Linda Lou Wentworth of Pensacola, Florida, and Cathy Sue Thorpe and Julie Lacy, both of Madison; her brother, Kenneth Washer of Madison; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Elmer and Lucy Brown, Louis Clyde and Mary Olive Tyler; and a niece, a nephew and other relatives.

Cornelia Eaglin Hancock, 95, of Milton, Kentucky, died Friday, July 24, 2020, at River Terrace Health Campus in Madison, Indiana. She was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Milton, to Jasper and Florida Carter Eaglin. She was a homemaker who loved helping her husband on their farm and enjoyed cooking, sewing and her flower garden. She was a member of Mt. Byrd Christian Church in Milton, but also attended North Madison Christian Church in Madison and Kent Christian Church in Kent, Indiana.
Survivors include a son, Terry Hancock of Florence, Kentucky; three daughters, Carole Pyles of Milton, Judith Davidson of Madison, and Becky Pyles of Carrollton, Kentucky; and eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 73 years, John B. Hancock, on May 10, 2012; and a half-sister, Mary Anderson.
Private graveside services will be held at Moffett Cemetery in Milton, with interment to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Jo Ogden
Jo Deva Ogden, 61, of Milton, Kentucky, died Thursday, July 23, 2020, at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.
She was born Sept. 10, 1958, in Madison, Indiana, to Robert “Bob” and Alma Ogden McManis. She was a 1976 graduate of Trimble County High School in Bedford, Kentucky, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Bedford. She enjoyed cross stitch, reading and listening to classic country music.
Survivors include a daughter, Laura Tomes of Louisville; four sons, Justin Stark, Joey Stark and William Stark, all of Milton and Noah Smith of Bedford; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lisa McManis; and her grandparents, Laura and Joe Ogden.
