New York Times Article Discusses Madison’s Suicide and Drug Problems

March 8, 2018

In this Article from the New York Times today, the weighted topics of suicide and drug addiction are delved into with a focus not just on the national level, but more specifically on Madison, Indiana.

It is a problem we have been facing for years, and even though we are not alone with these issues, the conversation should always be on call for discussing, as it doesn’t seem to be going away too soon.

The NYT story bases its angle from the perspective of the Madison High School football team and there is input from their coach, Southeast Indiana Voices for Children, a downtown bakery waitress, the Jefferson County Coroner, and a recent MCHS graduate.
