MCS School Board Chooses Interim Superintendent for Transition

June 15, 2017

During last night’s school board meeting, it was voted that Madison Consolidated Schools will put William Narwold in the position of Interim School Superintendent. He was previously in the same role for schools such as Batesville and Osgood. He will be operating with an open door policy for anyone that has input and/or questions involving the school system. Due to recent controversies involving the last Superintendent, Dr. Ginger Bolinger and certain students and parents involving decisions some felt were not right, Narwold hopes to do his best to ease the transition, but he would only be indirectly part of interviews for new administration candidates. Narwold is currently retired after being superintendent for Jac-Cen Del Schools and will give up the position once a more permanent employee is hired by MCS.
