On April 1st of this year, MainSource Banks became First Financial Banks and the buildings are transitioning as you read this.
The merger, which was officially decided last summer and First Financial’s current president is excited, saying “We look forward to providing our clients with additional lending capabilities and expanded product offerings while continuing to deliver a high-quality and personal level of service.”
Once all their computers and procedures are in place, the second half of the year, starting in late May, will be when the temporary signs (seen below from the classic Clifty and Cragmont location) are removed to reveal the big yellow FFB designs.
Executive Chairman Claude Davis thinks “We see this merger as a significant milestone in our company’s history that positions us for continued growth and success.”
MainSource Bank was founded in 2002 and based out of Greensburg, Indiana.
All current MainSource users will be given a welcome guide shortly to go over any questions that may occur as their bank changes names and more.
First Financial has around 150 locations and thousands of ATM’s, and their website will be www.bankatfirst.com, which is not only short and sweet, but also a nifty advertisement in it’s own right.
