Join Spence Schnaitter from the 1950 State Championship Basketball Game

On Monday, May 7th, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Madison Public Library, Spence Schnaitter will share with us how the Madison boys’ basketball team won the Indiana high school championship in 1950.

Mr. Schnaitter will talk about the 1948-49 season where Madison was in the final championship game where Madison’s Dee Monroe scored 36 points but barely lost the final game.

Dee Was selected as Mr. Basketball for the state of Indiana.

Then Mr. Schnaiter will discuss the 1949-50 season and the final championship game that lead to Madison winning the Indiana high school championship.

Mr. Schnaitter was selected as number 2 on the the Indiana All-Star team.

Mr. Schnaitter will talk from 6:30 to 7:15 and then people will be able to ask questions until 7:30
