JACK WARREN SHELTON

March 11, 1971 – April 10, 2017

BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Jack Warren Shelton, age 46, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on March 11, 1971 in Sullivan, Indiana. He was the loving son of Marvin Leonard and Margaret Elaine Bedwell Shelton. Jack was raised in Sullivan and was a 1990 graduate of Sullivan High School. After high school, he continued his education by attending Ivy Tech Community College to receive a certificate in auto body work. Jack was most passionate about the evangelistic work he had done in schools and prisons. Working with children and sharing his ministry was very important to him. He had also worked early in life in sales and auto body shops before his disability prevented him from working any longer. On May 20, 1997, he was united in marriage to Deborah J. Hamilton at their residence in Madison. This union was blessed with a daughter, Allison. He enjoyed motorcycles, tattoos, mechanics, collecting clown memorabilia, hunting, camping and being outdoors. He was a member of the Brushy Fork Baptist Church. Jack died on Monday, April 10, 2017, at 7:15 p.m. at his residence in Madison, Indiana.

LOVING FAMILY
Jack will be missed by his loving wife of 19 years, Deborah J. Hamilton Shelton of Madison, Indiana; his mother and father, Marvin Leonard and Margaret Elaine Bedwell Shelton of Sullivan, Indiana; his daughters, Kayleen Holmes and her husband Shawn of Tennessee, Allison Shelton of Madison, Indiana; his step-daughters, Tiffany McCleery of Fortville, Indiana, Melissa Guzzo and her husband, Jonathan of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Makenzie and Rayne McCleery, Blake Guzzo, Shaun Wainscott and Sophie Ritch; his seven brothers, David Shelton and his wife, Tracy of Arkansas, Jerry Shelton and his wife, Sharon of Arkansas, Carl Shelton and his wife, Willisann of Arkansas, Leonard Shelton of Minnesota, Roy Shelton of Indiana, John Fifer of Indiana, Danny Shelton and his wife, Lisa of Indiana; his sister, Julia Wilson and her husband, Chris of Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Leonard and Wilma Fern Shelton, Squire J. and Irene Bedwell; his aunts, uncles and other relatives.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., by Pastor Ron Lee at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may call Saturday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
