Prince of Peace Schools Announce their 2018 Golden Shamrock Winner

Prince of Peace Schools in Madison has Announced their Golden Shamrock Award Winner for 2018.

Mrs. Amy Mingione Ball, a long-time supporter of the schools, has been awarded the 2018 Golden Shamrock award winner.  According to a press release from the school Amy is a proud Shawe and Pope John Alum from the class of 1983.

This is the Highest Award within Prince of Peace Catholic Schools and is based on criteria such as Long Term Support of the Schools, served on organizations, long term community and volunteer service, positive image in the community and much more.

According to POP President Phil Kahn, “Amy has been a very instrumental into the success of Pope John and Shawe over a very long period of time and still volunteers in many ways today.   Even though her mother and father passed away a few years now I know that they are very proud of all the hard work and success she has dedicated to our schools.”

Ball will be honored following their all schools Mass on Thursday, Feb. 1st in the Hilary Meny Gymnasium.

The Mass will begin at 8:30 am in the Shawe Gymnasium and will be followed by a reception in the Sister Thomasita Hayes Student lounge.

All friends and past award winners are invited to join us for the award presentation and the reception.
