Free Art-Driven Halloween Bash at Hanover to Help Prevent Suicide

October 22, 2018

Want to Have Some Full-On Halloween While at the Same Time Help Educate About Suicide Prevention?

Well, Hanover, Indiana is holding such an event and it’s Happening This Week-end and it’s FREE!

A Joint Suicide Prevention/Education and Fun Art/Halloween Party is happening at Hanover College’s Lynn Center for Fine Arts at 151 Scenic Drive, on Hanover’s campus.

The black light art show pieces are already up and waiting, and Master Artist/Teacher Eric Phagan’s Junior High Art Classes have contributed 3D Art for the show!

This COMMUNITY Party is from 5-8pm on Saturday, October 27th, 2018.

The Fittingly Themed 2013 Film ‘Monsters University’ will be shown at 6PM.

There will also be crafts, candy, popcorn, fun photo ops, costume prizes, and AAAAAHHH!… more.

This party is modeled after suicide awareness-community Halloween parties that Rick Lostutter, head of the Art+Design program at Hanover College hosted years ago in an old spooky theatre in Central California.

This event is sponsored by Hanover College Art+Design Department and KDH’s Zero Suicide/Mental Health Team.
