
The 5th Annual Easter EGGstravaganza in Bicentennial Park has been rescheduled from April 20th to Sunday, April 21st due to possible rain in Saturday’s forecast.
With the new schedule of events for Sunday, the Easter Bunny will now be there at 1PM and the Egg Hunt will be moved to 2PM on.
This event hosted by H.O.P.P.S. will take place in Bicentennial Park located at 100 West Vaughn Dive in Madison and will feature a free egg hunt with over 10,000 eggs for children ages 12 and under. They ask for everyone participating in the hunt to get to Bicentennial Park early to line up.
There will be concessions to purchase, prizes, and tons of FUN!
The nonprofit organization “Helping Our Pediatric Patients Smile” or H.O.P.P.S. has a mission to raise awareness for pediatric cancer, to support research leading to a cure for all children diagnosed with this life threatening disease, and to provide needed items such as gas cards, groceries, care packages, and other special requests to the patients and their families.
They are based in Jefferson County and Switzerland County and provides assistance and donations to pediatric cancer patients and their families in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.
Donations are appreciated for this event and all proceeds go to benefit pediatric cancer patients as well as their families.
