‘Coffee with a Cop’ is a national event taking place across the Country, where citizens and law enforcement can come together and talk.
Whether it is discussing community issues or talking about the local football game – the event is designed to build and strengthen relationships.
It’s happening at the McDonalds restaurant at 3149 KY – 227 in Carrollton, KY 41008 from 9AM to Noon on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018.
There one will find KSP Post 05 Troopers and other local law enforcement agencies who have ostensibly gathered to bring police officers and the community members they serve together–over coffee–to discuss issues and learn more about each other.
The idea is rooted in the need for time to meet at neutral locations provides the opportunity for real conversations about issues that matter.
Coffee with a Cop events take place at local restaurants and of course, community residents can sit down with officers and ask questions or share what’s on their mind.
