Air Show at Madison Airport Ready to Thrill All on Saturday

At the same time the Madison Chautauqua is displaying thousands and thousands of pieces of art in Downtown, up on the hilltop there will be a whole different kind of entertainment… flying in the sky!
The Madison Municipal Airport is holding their Annual Air Show with Gates opening up at 10AM and performances starting at 1PM.
Below are just SOME of what’s going down on just off of Interstate Block Road and County Road 375 West:
Helicopter Rides by JR Aviation:
Take a ride in a Robinson R-44 Helicopter. Up to 3 passengers at a time!
Prices: $43 Per Person.
$40 if paying with CASH*
Rides are approximately 5 minutes long.

Discovery Flights by Honaker Aviation:
Ever wanted to learn to fly?
Talk with a flight instructor about making that dream come true.
They will be on site to answer questions or give you your first taste of flight training with a discovery flight!
$79 Gets you a first flying lesson!
Food by Hoboken Eddies:
You’ve flown around for the $100 hamburger but you’ve probably not had Hoboken Eddies famous food.
Eddie’s unique home cooked meals are just what you’ll need for a perfect day during the event!

Also, Kona Ice will be selling snow cones.
The airport is located at 3919 West IMS Lane in Madison, Indiana.
No coolers or alcohol are allowed and visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
Donations are Accepted.
