Autopsy Concluded Accidental Drowning of North Vernon Woman

NORTH VERNON — Investigation and an autopsy concluded that a North Vernon, Indiana woman who had been found in a lake south of Vernon, Indiana on Saturday drowned.

Jennings County Coroner Eugene L. Rudicel said Jama D. Brown’s cause of death was drowning, and that it appears to have been an accident.

Brown was found in the lake at the 1900 block of East County Road 100S at roughly 4 p.m. Saturday.
